Basic Pricing

Books are scanned at 300 DPI in color. The sample on the right contains OCR. Pricing is based on "sets". Please see how to count books in the next box below.

Books Sample

How To Count A Book:

Example:

1-100 pages rounds up to 1 Set.
101-200 pages rounds up to 2 Sets.
201–300 pages rounds up to 3 Sets. etc.
Simply round up to the nearest 100th.

How To Count Multiple Books:

Example:

Book A has 50 pages. Rounds up to 1 set.
Book B has 820 pages. Rounds up to 9 sets
Book A + Book B = 10 sets
Simply count a book, round up to proper sets, then add the sets.

How to define a book: A book should typically have an ISBN Number. Typical examples are novels, paperbacks, hardcovers, comics, textbooks, etc. If your item does not sound like a book, then please see the "Others" Tab on this page. You can see options and optional membership info directly below.

OCR stands for Optical Character Recognition.

The PDFs will contain the OCR text layer behind the images to make the text searchable and selectable. *Included automatically with memberships described below.

Amazon Direct.

When you ship books, please fill in your User ID or Order ID and Your name into Address Line2 of the Amazon Shipping label. *Included automatically with memberships described below.

Magazine Scanning

We will scan and digitize your magazines.

Title Option

For the basic plan the PDF will not include the title in the file name. If you want a title such as "THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT.pdf”, then add this option. *Included automatically with memberships described below.

Express Service

Turn Around : 5-10 business days *Included automatically with memberships described below.

Re-scan Insurance

Insurance for re-scanning. You can request a Re-scan for the delivered PDF files. We will keep your books for 14 days after scanning. *Included automatically with memberships described below.

File Conversion

We can convert your scan to many other files such as WORD, epub, txt, audio formats for audio books and many other file types. Please contact us with yours needs at contact@1dollarscan.com

Hardcover Scanning

We can scan hard covers for your books and insert them into your book files. Please contact us with yours needs at contact@1dollarscan.com

DVD

Archive and deliver all PDF files onto a DVD. We will mail you the DVD.

High Quality Touch-Up(HQT)

This option includes: Compression + Angle correction + Highest quality OCR + over 40 Languages. Highly recommended for more professional OCR accuracy.

High Quality Scanning (HQS)

You can select:

600dpi : Black&White (recommended: mostly text)

600dpi : Gray Scale (recommended: text with black&white images)

600dpi : Color (recommended: for many color images)
